Cheers to Beer

When the good folks at Twice Brewed Brewery said they want a kickass image for a flag I was all ears, never before had I shot an image when it’s sole purpose was to be waving frantically in the wind proudly above the brewery building.

It needed to be instantly obvious, it needed to be bright and eye catching, it needed to be exciting.

So after speaking with Matt the head brewer at Twice Brewed we came to the conclusion of a “Cheers-ing” image where two branded pint glasses filled with the social liquid almost collide together in a frenzy of beer spillage, that’s the excitement part and obviousness ticked.

I decided to go with a blue background to perfectly compliment the golden tones of the beer and to do the job of being eye catching of course.

Now all we needed to do was capture it all, this would end up being a composite of 12 images and over 20 layers, and a whole load of wasted beer unfortunately.
