Aperol Spritz

So the summer is here, we are out seeing friends and of course it doesn’t take long to start seeing the Aperol bottles around, they’ll be on tv, Instagram and facebook and also right as you walk in to your local supermarket.

So lets jump on that, purchasing a bottle of the good stuff, some prosecco and various other objects to create my scene.

Colour’s where very carefully selected to be cohesive and also the angles of the table runner and table cloth all follow to meet at the edge of the frame and straight through the centre of the bottle, in terms of composition I tried to create a well balanced photo.

I chose to use real ice as I wanted the natural condensation to occur, this did mean time was against me.

One slight failure was I wanted to capture more “fizz” around the ice, there is some slight bubbling but no effervescent really happening that could be seen.

My wonderful hand assistant I had colour match her fingernails to help tie in to the image.

Overall I am very happy with this test shoot
